The duende of flamenco in Barcelona
Before booking, watch how they dance in each room. These are the tablaos' own videos: the size of the stage, how close the audience sits and the cast on a given night come across better in a minute of dancing than in any description.

Almost all of them are in Ciutat Vella: the Raval and the Gòtic, on either side of La Rambla, and El Born. The venues on La Rambla appear under both neighbourhoods, because people searching for either one want to see them. Outside the centre are Casa Sors, in the Eixample, and Carmen's Tablao, on Montjuïc.

Which flamenco show to choose in Barcelona
Barcelona has 10 venues with a flamenco show almost every day, and they're less alike than Seville's: there are classic tablaos, a guitar museum, a 17th-century palace, a theatre on La Rambla and a musicians' bar in the Raval.
What moves the price is what the ticket includes. The show on its own costs between 10 and 47 €; with a drink, between 28 and 59 €; with tapas or dinner, from 44 to 97 €. One thing to bear in mind: several venues don't publish their prices outside the booking process, and on those pages we say so instead of guessing a figure.
Shows start from 5 pm and the last ones begin after 10 pm. Length varies far more than in other cities: from 40 minutes at Los Tarantos to an hour and a half at Casa Sors.
And you choose by character: Casa Sors has just 30 seats, El Duende holds up to 120, Palau Dalmases puts the stage in a palace and 23 Robadors is the most informal and the cheapest. None of them is "the best" for everyone: it depends on whether you want a small room, dinner there or just the dancing.
Frequently asked questions about flamenco in Barcelona
How much does a flamenco show cost in Barcelona?
A ticket on its own costs 10 to 47 €, depending on the venue. With a drink, between 28 and 59 €, and with tapas or dinner, from 44 to 97 €. The prices on this page are checked on each tablao's website and carry the date they were verified.
How long is the show?
An hour is the most common, but in Barcelona it varies a lot: 40 minutes at Los Tarantos, 55 at El Duende, 75 at Tablao Cordobés and at the Poliorama's Gran Gala, and an hour and a half at Casa Sors. If the ticket includes dinner, allow more time, because dinner comes before the show.
Do I need to book in advance?
There's usually room on the same day, except in the small venues: Casa Sors only takes 30 people per show. Booking from your phone an hour or two ahead is normal; turning up at the door is the risky option.
Which tablaos serve dinner?
Five of the ten serve dinner or tapas with the show: Carmen's Tablao, Tablao Cordobés, Los Tarantos, Teatro Flamenco Barcelona and Casa Sors. In the comparison tool you can filter to just those and see how much the price goes up compared with the show alone.
What is the best tablao in Barcelona?
It depends on what you're after, which is why this site compares instead of handing out prizes. For the dancing up close, the small rooms; for a full evening, the ones that serve dinner; for something different, the palace in El Born or the theatre on La Rambla.
Can I follow the show if I don't speak Spanish?
Yes. Flamenco is followed through the dance, the guitar and the rhythm; the singing can be enjoyed without translating the lyrics.
